Hon. E. K. Eastman of Eldora died Friday morning. He was 74 years of age, and a pioneer, having come to Iowa when it was a part of Wisconsin. he was elected Lieutenant Governor of the State in 1863 and was at the time of his death a member of the State Senate, a body in which he was conspicuous for his very decided advocacy of prohibition.
