From Nevada Representative March 11, 1885

--Mr. George Withey, who spent several weeks of last summer with his sister Mrs. D. L. Stephens* in this city, died on consumption last Thursday at this home in Franklin Grove, Illinois. His brother, R. O. Withey of Nevada, was present at the death and burial and returned Monday.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. D. L. Stephens" was Mary Melissa "Melissa" (Withey) Stephens. She was married to David Lytle Stephens. She and her brothers, George (the deceased) and Royal O. Withey, are the children of Orrin Withey and Mary Nash.
