From Nevada Representative February 18, 1885

Henry C. Drake, a former resident of Nevada, died quite suddenly at Woodbine, Iowa, Monday, February 9th, 1885. A few particulars of his life, sickness and death we gather from a resent issue of the Woodbine Twiner. Mr. Drake was born in Indiana and was 52 years old. After his extended residence in Nevada, he located in Dunlap, and from thence removed to Woodbine about three months previous to his death. He was sick only ten days, and ordinary cold changing rapidly to pneumonia. He bore his illness with gentle, patient spirit, and in the midst of intensest sufferings, "Blessed the Lord" for all his benefits. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and order his life upon Christian principles. A wife and son mourn his irreparable loss. The funeral of Mr. Drake was attended in the Presbyterian church at Woodbine last week Wednesday, in the presence of a large and sympathetic audience.
