Story City.

....The two and a half year old boy of Mrs. L. Ericsen* died last week. Mrs. Ericksen is sorely tried, as it has been a year of sickness and loss to her. Her husband died last winter and then several of her children. If sympathy is sufficient to ease her troubles, I am positively sure she has it from this community....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. L. Erickson" was Helga "Helen" (Erickson) Erickson who was married to Lewis Erickson. Lewis Erickson died 23 November 1883. She lost a daughter about 1880, two daughters in February 1881, and a son earlier that year in June of 1884, in addition to the son mentioned in this article.
