Mr. and Mrs. Smith Paine of Ellwell, mourn the loss of their child, aged two weeks.

....We have just learned of the death of the infant child of Smith Paine of Elwell.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to Story County, Iowa birth record this child was a boy, born on 20 July 1884 in Elwell, Story County, Iowa. He was the son of Smith Paine and Sarah E. "Ella" Richardson.
