Mrs. Eliza Deiffenbacher, mother of Mrs. Judge Kellogg*, died last Saturday in Great Bend, Kansas. her remains have been brought to Nevada for burial. Her funeral services, conducted by Rev. Mr. Reid, are to be held at 11 o'clock to-day, in the Presbyterian church. Mrs. D. with her late husband, was one of the early settlers of the county, and was always held in high esteem by the community in which she lived.
*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mary Euphous Dieffenbacker, daughter of Frederic Dieffenbacher and Eliza McCormick, was married to Judge George Albert Kellogg and is therefore referred to as "Mrs. Judge Kellogg."
