Mr. Oliver Hoskins, who for some months has been ill, died at his home four miles south of this city last Friday morning and his funeral occurred on Sunday. His death bereaves a wife and three children. He had resided on his farm in Nevada township for ten or twelve years. A very large concourse of neighbors and friends paid their tribute of respect to his memory by their presence at the services which were conducted by the Rev. Umblebaugh at the house, and by attending the remains to their resting place in the cemetery at Iowa Center.
