From Nevada Representative August 31, 1887
We learn that Albert Liddle, son of Mrs. Mary Liddle, of LaFayette Tp., was a fireman on a train on the U. P. Ry. in Neb., and was killed last Saturday by the train being thrown from the track by coming in contact with a hand car loaded with iron rails. The remains were brought home and buried at Gilbert Station on Monday, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. Everly of Ames. The deceased was an excellent young man and contributed largely to the support of his widowed mother.
