Judith Kay Van Meter was born April 28, 1942 to Robert and Mildred (Myers) Keigley in Ames, Iowa. Judy enjoyed baking, cooking, fishing, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Judy passed away at 73 years of age on October 4, 2015 at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls.

Judy is survived by her husband, Jan Van Meter; two sons, Marlan (Jodie) Van Meter and Mark Van Meter; one daughter, Marcia (Toby) Schmidt; two brothers, Paul (Lou) Keigley and David Keigley; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mitch Van Meter; her sisters, Bobbie Gumtau and Ramona Morrison; and her brother, Dick Keigley.
