H. N. Wahl, a farmer living several miles north of Boone, took his life Sunday morning by hanging. The body was found suspended from a beam in the barn about 11 a. m. by his daughter. It seemed that he had swung off a ladder leading into the hay mow. The fall broke his neck and probably killed him instantly. The coroner, was notified at once but the death was so plainly a suicide that no inquest was held.
