Dr. Harriman of Iowa City, a younger brother of Dr. Harriman* of Ames, died at his home there Monday of appendicitis, following an operation early in the month. He was a professor of anatomy in the medical department of the State University and was a man of great brilliancy and promise. He had been a frequent visitor at Ames and had considerable acquaintance in this county.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Dr. Harriman of Ames" was Dr. Wilbert Eugene Harriman (1871-1909) who was a professor at Iowa State College (now Iowa State University) in Ames. Dr. Wilbert Harriman was buried in the Iowa State University Cemetery.
