Obituary From Boeke Funeral Homes, Hardin County, Iowa.

Marvin Senter, age 65, passed away at his home in Maxwell on Monday, September 7, 2015. His wishes were to be cremated. There are no Memorial Services being planned at this time.

Marvin Lee Senter was born on February 3, 1950 in Ames, Iowa. He was born the son of Claire and Anna (Hupp) Senter.

He grew up on the family farm. Marv received his education by attending the Maxwell Public School where he graduated with the Class of 1968.

After high school he farmed on the family farm until the 1980’s. He then started his own business, Marv’s Appliance Repair in Maxwell. He also spent about 18 years before retirement working for the U.S. Postal Service.

Survivors include two daughters Mindy (Jeff) Fritz of Colo, Iowa and Kelly (Blake) Sprecher of Ogden, Iowa; two granddaughters Shelbey and Jacey Fritz; and his canine companion Jersey; along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
