Mrs. Gurina Brattebo, 98, Story City, died at the Bethany Manor Nursing Home, Story City, about 10:30 a.m. Friday. She had been a resident of Bethany Manor since 1945. Mrs. Brattebo was born in 1867 at Jongdal, Hardanger, Norway. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lillian VerHulst, Milwaukee, Wis.; two sons, Oscar, of Vega, Tex., and Benjamin of Long Beach, Wash.; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded In death by her husband. Funeral services will be held Monday from the Bethany Manor Chapel, with burial in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.
