Daniel “Dan” Eyanson, 60, of Nevada, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, at his home in Nevada.

Dan was born August 12, 1954, to Thomas and Donna (Ball) Eyanson. He had worked for the Ames Lab as a painter, until becoming disabled. Dan enjoyed gardening, fishing, refinishing furniture, antiques and old movies.

Dan is survived by his son, Alex Eyanson; his daughter, Crystal Eyanson; his mother, Donna Eyanson; his brothers: Steven (Mary) Eyanson, Jim (Carol) Eyanson and Fred (Marilyn) Eyanson; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 6, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada with inurnment to follow at Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Dan.
