Garry R. Allen, 50, of Ames passed away June 20th, 2015 of liver failure at Mary Greeley.

Garry was born to Garry Allen and Sharon Allen (McDowell) on November 7th, 1964. He was survived by his wife Stacy R. Allen (Sonksen) and 3 children David, Montana, and Isabelle. Also his 4 other children, Amanda, Nicholas, Rebecca, and Nathan. Garry loved being outside in summer and spending time with his kids at the park. He also loved playing pranks on his friends and family. Sometimes difficult to get along with, but would give the shirt off his back when needed. He graduated from Nevada, IA high school.

A family gathering will be held on July 12 at River Valley Park on East 13th Street in Ames, IA. It will be a potluck so we can all get together and talk about all the good times we had with Garry.
