Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Ronald W. Steel was born October 20, 1954 to William Arthur and Florence (Parks) Steel, Jr. in Ames, Iowa. Ron worked as a livestock farmer and trucker. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and raising goats. Each year at the 4-H Fair, Ron would sponsor youths to learn about and how to show goats. He also enjoyed his time visiting with friends at coffee.

Ron passed away at 60 years of age on May 28, 2015 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Ron is survived by his mother, Florence Steel; two daughters, Monica (Randy) Bowers and Jessica (Marion) McKim; six grandchildren; three brothers, Jim (Susan) Steel, David Steel and Gary (Deb) Steel; and his sister, Marianne (John) Loseke.
