Funeral services were held at the Collins Christian Church Saturday at 2:00 for Mrs. Henry W. Johnson, 54. Rev. C. E. Lookingbill of Nevada preached the sermon. Rev. George Cornford of Collins assisted in the services. A double quartet Sang.

Burial was in the Collins Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson had been in poor health several years but died suddenly Wednesday evening at her home from a stroke. She spent most of her life in Collins and vicinity. She was a member of the Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Ila Leonard, her mother, Mrs. Susan Halterman, all of Collins. Several brothers and sisters and other relatives survive. ~ The Colfax Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 2 May 1935
