Michael Joseph Wren, of Bluemont, VA passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015. Michael was born February 13, 1956 in Ames, Iowa.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Edith Ridenhour. Michael is survived by his father, Ronald C. Wren; step-mother, Karen, both of Ames, Iowa; his loving wife, Bonnie Wren, of Bluemont; one daughter, Erin Madson (Jeremy) and their son, Dexter, all of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Linda Wren of Payson, Utah; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael graduated from Ames High School, class of 1974 and joined the U.S. Navy, serving from 1974 to 1978 as an NMCB3. Following his time in service, he came to Loudoun County and settled in Bluemont. For 31 years, he worked for Maidstone Construction.
A private memorial was held on Skyline Drive. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michaelīs honor to the American Heart Association.
