Andrew Jacob Bond
February 28, 1981 - February 16, 2015Andrew "Andy" Bond, 33, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015.
Born February 28, 1981 in Rock Island, Illinois, Andy was the son of Stephen and Carol (Yarrington) Bond. Andy grew up and received his education in Ames, graduating from Ames High School in 2000, and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Iowa State University in 2008.
He loved spending time with his Fiancé Natalie, watching movies, attending Iowa State football and basketball games, spending time with family and friends.
Andy enjoyed sports, he loved Iowa State football and basketball, and he was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia, and sought out and obtained autographs from as many local sports stars as he could. Andy was always looking to the future, planning and preparing for his family with everything he did, he was born a businessman and in his eyes everything had value.
Andy is survived by his parents; Stephen and Carol Bond, brothers; Christopher (Sue Girard) from Story City, Iowa, and Michael (Nicole) from Marshalltown, Iowa, and one nephew; Brayden Bond from Marshalltown. He is also survived by his fiancé; Natalie Kelley from Ames.
Andy is preceded in death by his Grandparents; Herbert and Maxine Bond, Earl and Lathea (Lolly) Yarrington, uncle; Victor Engh, aunts; Virginia Engh, and Mary Lois Bond, and cousin; Gregory Bond.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family and will be used to establish a fund for Andy's daughter Isabella.
