Frank H. Lounsberry

Frank Harold Lounsberry, 83, of Nevada died of a heart attack Feb, 27 at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames.

Lounsberry was born March 16, 1906, in Story County to James G. and Lydia A. Lounsberry. He married Marguerite Illian Dec. 24, 1936 in Nevada. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Lions Club, C.P.I. Club, Moose and Elks lodges, and a charter member of Iowa Law Fraternity, He also was a charter member of Indian Creek Country Club.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Sandra Smith of Marengo, Ill., Karen Grandstrand of Maple Plain, Minn., and Connie Lounsberry of Stamford, Conn.; one son, Murray Lounsberry of Greeley, Colo,; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles Lounsberry of Ames and Wayne Lounsberry of Nevada.

Visitation will be held at Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada, Thursday, March 1, after noon. Services will be held at Central Presbyterian Church, Friday, March 2, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Brad Braley officiating.
