Geo. A. Klove Dies In California Tues.
Word was received in Nevada yesterday of the death of George A. Klove, 84, in the Glendale, Calif., hospital after a short illness. Mr. Klove, long time Nevada resident suffered a stroke May 18 and a second one a week ago.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Inglewood chapel in Glendale.
Mr. Klove was born in Decorah, Ia., Jan. 16, 1867, a son of Edwin and Christena Klove, both natives of Norway. The family moved to Nevada in 1883.
He was married to Miss Sylvia Thompson of Nevada in 1894, who survives him. Also surviving are the two sons, Herman, his wife and daughter Kathryn Ann of La Crescenta, Calif., and Sumner and his wife in Glendale. He also leaves one brother, Fred Klove of Evanston, Ill., and one sister, Miss Louise Klove of Los Angeles, Calif.
Mr. Klove served as deputy county treasurer for four years and a county treasurer for two terms. For a number of years he was associated with the First National bank in Nevada.
