From Nevada Evening Journal Friday, March 12, 1909
The eighteen months old baby boy of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Farrington, died last night after an illness of some days. The cause of death was lung trouble following an attack of measles. There will be no public funeral held, but interment will probably take place tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock. The parents have the sympathy of all in their hours of bereavement.
From Nevada Representative Monday, March 15, 1909
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. N. Farrington lost their eighteen-months-old baby Friday with the measles, this death being the first and only death that occurred here from cause during the epidemic. Mrs. Farrington has also been seriously ill with the measles; but she is now distinctly on the mend. The three older children, who came down in the family are now over their measles.
