Bonnie Ruth Anderson, 81, was born on August 6, 1933 to parents Florence (Rose) Lane and Fred Lane in Spencer, Iowa. She graduated from Spencer High School and married Merrill Eugene Anderson from Dickens, Iowa. Her daughter Barbara Jean Anderson was born in October 1953, and son Michael Anderson was born in December 1959.

During recent years, Bonnie lived in Ames, Iowa. She made frequent trips to visit her children—Michael and daughter-in-law Chris in Minnesota and Las Vegas, and Barbara in Ohio. She enjoyed her grandchildren Brenna, Jason, Elisha, Angie, Brandon, Rawson, and Danielle, as well as great grandchildren Sadie, Skyler, Joy, Heaven Ann, Morgan, Mya, Kailee, Allison, and Eli. Bonnie is also survived by two siblings, Jane (Lane) Rouse and Elvin Lane, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
