Services today for Mr. Hapes

Funeral services were held this afternoon for Harry Hapes, 78, Colo, who died Friday at the Story County Hospital. Mr. Hapes had been in ill health about five weeks.

Services were held from the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Colo. Burial was at the Colo cemetery.

Born in Missouri, Mr. Hapes had lived in Colo about 28 years.

Surviving are his wife, Bessie; three sons, Henry, Nevada, William, Colo and Virgil, 2311 Ferndale; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Carpenter, Trenton, Mo., Mrs. Annamae Otto, Nevada and Mrs. Kathryn Leto, Des Moines, and 20 grandchildren.
