Rites set for Tina McCurdy
Mrs. Tina S. McCurdy, about 75, formerly of 1015 Marston Ave., died at Pullman, Wash. about 9:30 a.m. Friday.
She was born at Lacona High School in 1907, and attended Central College, Pella.
She married Roy R. McCurdy and the couple moved to Ames about 1920 and to Pullman in August, 1965.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church and was past matron and 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Roy R.; a son, Dr. J. Allen McCurdy, also of Pullman, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Howard Myers, Cocoa, Fla. and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. McCurdy was preceded in death by a son, James, who died in 1954, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday fro Adams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold E. Harryman, First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Ames Municipal Cemetery.
