WILFRED MATTHEW SHARP

Wilfred Matthew Sharp was born July 16, 1925 at Ames and died Nov. 21, 1966 at Mahaska Hospital, Oskaloosa.

He married Juanita Abernathy May 8, 1947 at Clarksville, Tenn.

Mr. Sharp was a member of the Ames Evangelical United Brethren Church. He had been employed with the Kaser Construction Co. of New Sharon for about 16 years.

He had been a resident of New Sharon since 1959.

Survivors include his wife Juanita; two sons, Wilfred Mathew, Jr., a student at Central College, Pella, and DuWayne Max, at home; a daughter, Nona Marie, also a home; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Ringgenberg, 1611 Top-O-Hollow Road; two brothers, Charles Sharp, Glendale, Calif. and Zane Mills Sharp of Marion, and a step-brother, Elbert Lee Ringgenberg, Center Point.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, from the Harlan Funeral Chapel, New Sharon.
