John L. Michaud, 73, of Loveland passed away on October 14, 2014. John was born on July 15, 1941 in Ames, IA to Raymond and Helen (Collette) Michaud. He joined the US Navy and served oversea during the Vietnam War. John married Jean M. (Shold) Jensen on July 18, 1972 in Des Moines, IA. He moved to Colorado in 1978.

John worked at Hach Company in Iowa and Loveland, CO for over 35 years and retired in 2010. He has been a member at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church since 1978. John loved wood working, enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds, crossword puzzles and liked fishing in Iowa.
John is survived by his son Jeffrey Jensen of Greeley, CO; daughters Joni Paul of Fort Collins, CO, Jennifer (Scott) Reed of Denver, CO, and Jill (Rob) Miller of Loveland, CO; brothers Jim (Marlene) Michaud of Ames, IA, Bob (Jan) Michaud of Albuquerque, NM, and Mark (Jane) Michaud of Ames, IA; sister Debbie (Roy) Young of Ames, IA; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jean.

A viewing will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Allnutt Funeral Service. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment at Loveland Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
