Earl Ralph Tice was born December 20, 1935 to Ralph and LaVonda M. (Ray) Tice in Ames, Iowa. He married Lois Arlene Allie on January 2, 1955. Earl was an avid race car enthusiast. He drove stock car, sprint car and midget cars. Earl built sprint cars in his retired years. He had a great sense of humor and touched many hearts.

Earl passed away at 78 years of age on October 13, 2014 at Mary Greeley Medical Center.

Earl is survived by his mother, Bonnie Tice; his children, Pamela (Paul) Gibbs, Don (Barb) Tice, Linda (Donnie) Dickerson, Donna (Mitch) McCarl, Laurie (Ron) Cohrs, Jason (Jessica) Tice and Crystal Tice; his grandchildren, Daniela Williams, Andrew Tice, Justin (Nicole) Swett, Jesse Swett, Jacob Swett, Shawnacee (Ben) Parker, Nathan McCarl and Dezaray Tice; his great-grandchildren, Daemon Crouse, Nathan Swett and Jeremiah Parker; and a lot of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Tice and his wife, Lois Tice; his sister, Arlene Smith; and his granddaughter, Chelsey Tice.
