Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Lenora Alice Osheim was born on September 28th 1912, at her parent’s farm home in Warren Township, Story County, Iowa. She was the sixth of ten children born to Olaus and Julia (Twedt) Osheim. She was baptized, confirmed in Bergen Lutheran Church, and married in the Bergen Lutheran Church Parsonage, Roland, Iowa.

After attending country school for three years, she completed her high school education at the McCallsburg Consolidated School.

She married Cyrus J. Christian on February 24th 1934. Lenora and Cyrus farmed the one and one half century Christian family farm northwest of Roland until their retirement in 1979 when they moved to Story City and joined St. Petri Lutheran Church.

Lenora Alice Osheim Christian, passed away on September 8th, 2014, at Bethany Manor, Story City, IA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters: Gertrude Osheim Wilson, Jemima Osheim Rasmussen, Johanna Osheim Risdal, Helen Osheim Higgins, Cora Osheim O’Brien, Ione Osheim, Wilma Osheim Noty, brother Orris Osheim, twin brother Lawrence Osheim and six nieces and nephews. She is survived by twenty-six nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews and other family and friends.
