MAXWELL

Mabel Belle, only child of Squire and Rebecca McConnell, died at the home of her parents, three miles northeast of town, on Saturday morning, Aug. 22, after an illness of several weeks, aged eight years. She was a very bright little girl, and the parents are very much bereaved over the death. The funeral was held on Sabbath afternoon at the residence, and was conducted by Rev. R. A. Ferguson, after which the remains were laid in the Maxwell cemetery.
