B. Brouhard* received the sad intelligence Thursday of the death of his grand child Blanche Spratt of Marshalltown formerly of Colo. The remains were brought to Colo Friday evening for interment. The bereaved parents have the heart felt sympathy of a large number of Colo friends. Rev. Chas. Pickford conducted the services at the cemetery in a very impressive manner.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "B. Brouhard" is Barnet Brouhard. His daughter, Rose A. Brouhard, married William G. Spratt on 18 January 1881 in Colo, Story County, Iowa.
