LOIS L. GROOMES

Lois L. Groomes, 68, of Nevada IA, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 1986, at Des Moines General Hospital, Des Moines IA, where she had been a patient the last 14 days.

She was born April 30, 1920, in Boone County IA to Floyd and Anna (Baker) Groomes.

She had been a resident of Nevada the past 12 years.

Survivors include her parents, Floyd and Anna Groomes of Nevada; a sister, Lola Plotkin of Phoenix AZ; one niece and one nephew.

Miss Groomes was a 30 year retiree of Donnelley Marketing in Nevada. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge.

Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary, 5th St. and G Ave., Nevada, with Rev. Paul Beckman officiating. Burial was in Nevada Cemetery.
