Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

A visitation is planned for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20 with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley. Burial of the cremated remains will take place on 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 21 at the Slater Municipal Cemetery.

Eva Edith Lilland was born August 6, 1922 to John and Gladys (Reese) Gasper in Dallas County, Iowa. Eva was an excellent seamstress, a fanatical housekeeper and enjoyed taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. Eva was married to Lester Jeffery Lilland on August 22, 1943 in Madrid.

Eva passed away at 91 years of age on July 15, 2014.

Eva is survived by three children, Mary Ann (Jim) Christianson, of Huxley, Linda (Steve) Larson, of Ames and Bruce Lilland, of Huxley; seven grandchildren, Rhona Krumm, Tracie Shaffer, Stefani Ostendorff, Amy Buttery, Shaun Lilland, Jeff Lilland, and Krysta Lilland; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one brother, James K. Stewart, of Knoxville; and three sisters, Jan Hamann, of Canton, South Dakota, Gaye (Ernie) Jordan, of Boone and Carolyn (Bobbi) Smith, of Springfield, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; eleven brothers and sisters; and her grandson, Zachary Lilland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the family.
