Gertrude Kolmos died Monday

Mrs. Gertrude C. Kolmos, Cranford Apartments, died Monday afternoon [September 21, 1970] at the Story County Hospital, Nevada, where she had been a patient one and a half weeks. She had been in ill health for the past three months.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada with the Rev. Frank P. Hladky officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Mrs. Kolmos had lived in Ames for the past three years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Wheaton, Ill.

She belonged to the Pi Beta Phi sorority alumni group at ISU.

Survivors include a brother, Guy Curtiss, Seattle, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Curtis, two sisters, two brothers and her husband.
