JOHN (TED) CLARK
John T. (Ted) Clark, 73, of 1305 H Ave. died Friday morning at 6 a.m. at the Story County Hospital.
A retired member of the Nevada Police Department, Clark was born at Nevada on Oct. 5, 1899. he had lived here his entire life.
He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W., having served during World War II.
Survivors include a sister, Jessie S. Birck of Hemit, Calif.; four step sisters, Effie Brown of Waterloo, Edith Billings of Des Moines, Mae Cassiday of Lakewood, Calif. Also surviving are niece Marilou Moneeith of Des Moines and two grandnieces, Terry Stewart of Floyd and Toni Churchill of Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his father John W. Clark and his mother Jennie Clark.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 27, at 1:30 p.m. from Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
