CHARLIE FRANK KLINGER

Charlie Frank Klinger, 80, of Nevada IA, died Saturday, April 23, 1988, at Long Term Care Center, Story County Hospital, Nevada.

He was born Jan. 3, 1908, in Wayne County IA in Friedrich Klinger and Katharine Heyl.

On Dec. 14, 1938, he was married to Eva Osborn at Allerton IA. They lived in Wayne County until moving to Nevada in 1967.

Mr. Klinger farmed until retiring in 1954. He had played piano in square dance hand in Wayne County.

He was a member of a Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Hwy. in Nevada with Rev. William Ballard of the Nevada United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.

Mr. Klinger's survivors include his wife, Eva, of Nevada; a son, Max, of Nevada, two grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.

Visitation was held at the funeral home Monday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
