Mable Marie Stookey
Nov. 24, 1902 to July 2, 1991

Mable Marie Stookey, 88, of Nevada died of congestive heart failure at Mary Greeley Medical Center.

She was born to Clarke and Elva (Earl) French at Nevada. She was married to C. Clarke Stookey on Nov. 11, 1920, at Nevada. In 1956 she moved to California, where she lived until 1984 when she moved to the state of Washington. She moved back to Nevada in 1989.

She retired as a medical receptionist. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Nevada, the VFW Auxiliary, CWF and the To Win Others Sunday School Class.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia McConnell of Nevada, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A prayer service was held Sunday. Funeral services were held Monday at the First Christian Church in Nevada. Burial was in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, Nevada.
