T. E. Hunt, 87, father of M. E. Hunt of this city and a former long time resident of Nevada, died Thursday at 8 a. m. at the Mary Greeley hospital in Ames where he had been for two days.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p. m. at the Seventh Day Adventist church in Nevada. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
Mr. Hunt, who would have been 33 years of age on June 5, fractured his hip about two years ago since which time he had been in a nursing home the greater share of the time. Following the death of his wife about 18 years ago, Mr. Hunt had lived in Ames and Nevada with his children.
Surviving are two sons, M. E. Hunt of Nevada and C. A. Hunt of Eagle Grove, and four daughters, Mrs. Vivian Coy and Mrs. Phil Coy of Ames, Mrs. Vesta Hamby of Des Moines, Mrs. Ross Sipe of Washington state. He also leaves two brothers, two sisters, 32 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
