Robert “Animal” Hadaway, 53, of Colo, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 19, 2014, at Story County Medical Center in Nevada.

Robert was born February 9, 1961, in Ames to Donald and Opal (Grove) Hadaway. He graduated from South Hamilton High School and had worked with Martin Construction. Robert enjoyed riding his Harley, monster truck shows and truck pulls. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his significant other, Janet Janvrin; his children, Mitchell, Mikaela and Nicholas Hadaway; his parents, Donald and Opal Hadaway; his brothers, Mark (Cindy), Perry (Chris), Tom (Gaylene), Jerome (Nicki), Clarence “Ole” (Susan) and Kenny Hadaway; his sisters, Elizabeth Johnson (fiancé Jason), Cece (Roger) Kempe and Cindy (Ron) Miller.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Nevada High School Josephine Tope Auditorium in Nevada. Cremation will follow the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Robert.
