GLEN DICKEY

Glen Dickey, 35, former Nevada boy and graduate of Nevada high school with the class of 1920, died at the Iowa Lutheran hospital, Des Moines, at 11 p.m., Wednesday and was buried in the Nevada cemetery Thursday.

Mr. Dickey, who had been a resident of Des Moines for many years, died from an attack of spinal meningitis, from which he had suffered for about a week.

He was the youngest of the four sons of Mr. and Mrs. B. S. Dickey of Nevada. There he spent his boyhood days, attended school and graduated with the class of 1920. Later he attended business college and for many years held a responsible position with the Rock Island railway offices, both at Mason City and the Des Moines office. During the past year or so he had been with the White Transfer Co. of Des Moines, as rate clerk.

He leaves his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. S. Dickey and three brothers, Lyle B. Dickey of Ames, Harold Dickey of Washington, D. C., and Byron Dickey of Nevada.

He was a young man of exceptional talent in a business way and his many friends will join with those of his adopted home in Des Moines in their expression of regret in his early passing, to the wife, the parents, the brothers and other relatives.
