Ralph Thomas Dingman
May 14, 1912 to Feb. 27, 2002Ralph Thomas Dingman, 89, of Vestal, N.Y. died of congestive heart failure on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Good Shepherd Fairview Home in Binghamton, N.Y.
He was born May 14, 1912, in Marshalltown to John and Norma (Randall) Dingman. He married Lillian G. Peterson on Sept. 1, 1935, in Nevada. Ralph was an industrial engineer with Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Ill. He was a master bridge player and a scout mater for the Boy Scouts.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Dingman of St. Paul, Minn., and Don Dingman of Diablo, Calif.; two daughters, Karen Dunton of Vestal, N.Y. and Linda White of Forest Grove, Ore.; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lillian, in November of 1988.
Graveside services were held Monday, March 4, at Nevada Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Scott Milson of Central Presbyterian Church officiating. Chet Ryan Mortuatry, Nevada, handled arrangements.
