JON PHILLIP MYERS

Jon Myers, 34, of Nevada died Monday as the result of a truck-train accident. He had been a resident of Nevada his entire life.

Born March 12, 1939 to Darrell and Josephine Myers, he had been working for trucking firm as a driver. He was married to Barbara Chittenden on June 19, 1963 and was a member of the Nevada Presbyterian Church.

Services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada, Wednesday, October 24 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Gehrald Riesen officiating. The casket will be closed. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife; his parents; one son, Kevin Lynn; two daughters, Allison Jo and Megan Kay; and two sisters, Mary Jo Johnston of Toddville and Kathy Sue Erickson of Cambridge.
