Bessie L. Sesker

Bessie L. Sesker, 87, Cambridge, died of a blood clot April 5 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, Des Moines.

Sesker was born Oct. 11, 1902, in Modale to William and Maude Bowman. She married Joseph L. Sesker March 26, 1949, was a homemaker and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Des Moines. She was a resident of the Cambridge area since 1949.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruth McNeeley and Dorothy Fisher, both of Des Moines; one son, George Roberts of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Willie Bowman and Walter Bowman, both of Omaha, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held April 8 at Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell. Services were held April 9 at the funeral home with burial in Cambridge.
