Funeral Servces For Ole Frovick Monday
Funeral services for Ole Frovick were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Riis Funeral home. Rev. P. E. Onstad was in charge of the service and also sang two selections, "God Calling Yet" and "My Faith Looks Up to Thee". He preached on the theme "Is Your Soul Safe". Pallbearers were Ingwal Estrem, N. T. Sydness, Olem Tesdall, Martin Romsa, Thomas Moland and Oscar Fritz. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery. Ole L. Frovick, son of Lars and Sarah (Cleveland) Frovick, was born December 11, 1868, on a farm south of Huxley. He lived with his parents until their passing. In 1898 he purchased a farm north and east of Slater, on which he resided until his death. On April 18 he was taken to the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines and it was there that he passed away on Friday morning, May 18. He leaves to mourn his passing one sister, Mrs. Martha Olson of Clarion, Ia., and six nieces, three nephews and the Emil Helgeland family with whom he made his home for many years.
