Lyle McConnell dies suddenly at son's home

Lyle John McConnell, 62, died suddenly at 9:30 a.m. Monday [September 8, 1969] at the home of his son, Max McConnell, in Kent, Wash.

Mr. McConnell had been suffering from a heart condition for the past three years.

Mr. and Mrs. McConnell had gone to Washington to visit in the home of their son and his daughter, Shannon. The son is still recuperating from an auto accident that took the life of his wife in July.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; three son, Max of Kent, Wash., Frank of Upland, Calif., and Terry of Nevada; two daughters, Lois Berry of Hitchings of Nevada; one sister, Doris Ogden of Nevada and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services are planned for 11 a.m. Friday in Nevada.

A memorial fund has been established.
