GERALDINE PRESCOTT MILLER

Geraldine Prescott Miller, 68, of 1540 1st St., Nevada IA, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1987, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines IA following a heart attack.

She was born Sept. 2, 1918 in Milford Township, Story County IA, to Annas and Sadie (Melohn) Prescott and lived here her entire life.

She was married to Wayne Miller May 7, 1938, at Nevada.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne; a daughter, Annette Bates of Ankeny IA; two sons, Robert and Craig Miler, both of Nevada; four granddaughters, Julie and Stacie Bates of Ankeny and Lori and Tracy Miller of Nevada; one grandson, Ryan Miller of Nevada; one great granddaughter, Mindy Miller of Nevada; one sister, Helen Wagner of Raymondville MO; two brothers, Harold Prescott of Marshalltown IA and Robert Prescott of Ames IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond Prescott and Richard Payne, and one sister, Lola Tiffany.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She belonged to the VFW Auxiliary and the Nevada Women's Bowling League.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada. Burial was in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.

Chet Ryan Mortuary, 5th St. and G Ave., Nevada, was in charge of arrangements.
