Body of Ray Fink Recovered From Waters of Atlantic

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Fink, West E avenue, have received notice that the body of their son Coast Guardsman Ray H. Fink, Seaman First Class, missing since last December had been recovered.

The accidental death of Seaman Fink had occurred Dec. 1, 1945 as he was on his way to the lighthouse for duty. He had been stationed at Seven Foot Knoll not far from Baltimore.

The body, accompanied by the wife, will arrive in Nevada this evening at 8:24 over the Northwestern. Funeral services will be held at Memorial Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. E. P. Windman officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

The service will be a military one.

Seaman Fink, born in Nevada Sept. 14, 1921 is survived by his wife, Angie Port Fink, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Fink, sister Miss LaRue Fink, who is attending the University of Minnesota, and the brothers, LeRoy, Arlo, Robert and Herbert at home.
