Services to be Thursday for William Buck

William H. Buck, 1234 11th St., a patient at Oak Park Manor for the past eight months, died Tuesday morning at the Manor at the age of 78.

Born February 3, 1891 in Monticello, Ky., he was the son of John and Dora Buck. he was a retired City Water Works Employee and had lived in Nevada for 50 years.

Surviving are two sons, Mack Buck of Nevada and Marion Buck of Des Moines; three grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters living in Kentucky and Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and his wife, Anna, who died February 3, 1969.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Michael Rush officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
