BELVA DEEDS

Belva Price Deeds, 87, of Nevada, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1982 at Oak Park Manor in Nevada

She was born Sept. 27, 1894 in Green City, Mo., the daughter of Ulyless S. and Susan Baker Price, and attended the Green City schools. On July 15, 1915, she married Ben H. Deeds at Green City.

The couple moved to Nevada in 1936. Mrs.Deeds was employed as a cook at the hotel restaurant and other restaurants. She was a member of Nevada Baptist Church.

Mrs.Deeds is survived by two daughters, Ramah Pratt of Nevada and Thelma Hicks of Nevada; three brothers, Walter Price of Long Beach, Calif., Ray Price of Hampton, and Erwin Price of Kirksville, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Benjamin, in 1946, a son in 1919, one grandchild and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept.15 at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with Rev. Daniel Osterhout officiating.
Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

The family will meet friends at the Ryan Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
