Rites set for E. B. Turkington

Ernest B. Turkington, 72, Nevada, died about 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Story County Hospital where he had been a patient four days.

Born near McCallsburg, he was a retired farmer and electrician.

Mr. Turkington is survived by three sons, Malcolm of Charleston, Ore., Barton of Norman, Okla. and Harry, Chicago, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel, in 1954 and by an infant son.

Mr. Turkington had been a lifetime resident of Story County.

Private committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Nevada Cemetery and a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Nevada Methodist Evangelical United Brethren Church, with the Rev. M. C. Shupe.
